My name is Francesco Ongaro, qualified and enrolled tour leader.  I speak English and French. 

In collaboration with a local tour operator, I organize customized tours and guided visits of Vicenza, the Palladian Villas and other Venetian Villas, the most beautiful sights of my region, and various destinations throughout Italy and Europe.

 
In addition to planning, I take care of the complete management of the tour, and the welcoming service, assistance and, if asked, I escort the customers.
 
My business is directed to individuals and groups, for example cultural clubs, associations, schools, and guests of the accommodation facilities (hotels, etc).

Moreover, I escort organized tours on behalf of agencies and tour operators.

My story in shortly...

After accumulating experience in different working fields, I decided to put to use my passion for travel and for all concerns art, culture and knowledge of places and people. I then obtained the license of tour leader, and embarked on a journey which has led me to gain valuable experience in the design and escorting tours for different types of customers.

 
Also, I continued to study and update me constantly. I attended, among others, the Course for Territorial Promoter organized in 2014 by "Cuoa" Master and Business School in Altavilla Vicentina, under a project funded by the Veneto Region, by which I specialized in the creation and management of tours for every interest and requirement.
 
From the beginning I decided to spend at least a part of my activity to the promotion and relaunch of tourism in Vicenza and its territory, with a particular attention to the beautiful Venetian Villas, and the most beautiful sites in the region.
 
So, I created a planning and escort service of personalized tours for hotels guests, which was much appreciated. The travelers like to have a person who helps them to discover the territory; it's like when you go to visit a place together with a friend or relative who lives there: the travel experience takes a completely different meaning.
 

Later, after having worked as a consultant for some agencies, I have established a good synergy with Miti e Mete Travel Agency in Vicenza, with which I propose classical or personalized tours, to discover the beauty of our city and region, and of many other destinations in Italy and Europe. We share ideas and enthusiasm in offering to our customers new and innovative services, strictly focused on quality, at competitive prices.
