Known throughout the world as the capital of the opera as well as the "city of love" for its romantic atmosphere and the legend of Romeo and Juliet, and for  the sites in the town who remember it, Verona is an important city in Veneto , visited by millions of visitors each year. 

Unesco World Heritage town, is full of wonderful monuments, belonging to different architectural styles. 

Few cities can boast as Verona Roman remains (it is the second richest city of Roman findings after Rome), and also the Renaissance, Medieval,  and more. 

A livable, clean, tidy city, where quality of life is palpable, despite its size can not be said to be reduced: Verona has in fact more than 260,000 inhabitants.
 
Its main monuments are:
-The Arena, dating back to the first century AD, Roman amphitheater third in Italy for capacity after the Colosseum and the amphitheater of Capua.
It hosts the most important Italian opera festival, and many are the foreign spectators every year.
-Castelvecchio, defensive system which includes a beautiful bridge over, built by the Scala family, lords of Verona in medieval times;
-The Church of San Zeno Maggiore, very old and stylistically stunning;
-the other beautiful churches of Sant'Anastasia, richly decorated and filled with works of art inside, the Cathedral where is exposed a paddle of Tiziano, S.Fermo, and others;
-the Ponte Pietra, of Roman origin
-the Roman Theatre
 
A visit to Verona is also recommended for the many routes that can be combined: just 20 kilometers away is Garda Lake, the largest Italian one, plenty of beautiful landscapes, beaches, historic towns, local products such as the renowned oil olive oil, and much more.
 
Located at the center of major roads, the city can be reached from Milan in less than an hour and a half drive away, an hour from Venice and about half an hour from Vicenza.
